Abstract EN

This study aims at illustrating the Shari Islamic rule in dealing with the digital money, being one of the contemporary electronic payment methods.

They are cash values in the form of digits in an electronic device or computer programs.

The study concluded that there is no Shari objection on dealing with digital money, provided that being free from usury and compatible with the provisions of the Islamic Sharia and its general rules.

In this concern, it is necessary to codify them based on the official laws, so as not to become a vehicle for many evils, which could be avoided.

The researcher recommended carrying out more Sharia and legal studies to have control on them and make them more clarified.
