Abstract EN

This study examines the effect of public expenditure on unemployment in Algeria during the period 2015-1990 by examining the causal relationship between public expenditures and unemployment.

It aims to shed light on public expenditure and its impact on unemployment in Algeria over the past years.

The study examined the hypothesis that there is a causal relationship between the two variables, and its direction is from public expenditure to unemployment, and the study used to test the stability test using the ADF and finally the causality of Granger.

The study concluded that if public expenditure changes, unemployment will not change, The change in unemployment does not lead to a change in public expenditure.
