Abstract EN

This study aims at analyzing the volume and the nature of foreign direct investments in Algeria and examining the factors affecting it for the period 2006 to 2013, the research examined the volume of FDI (dependent factor) and its yearly variation and the factors affecting it for the period 2006=2013.

therefore, a financial horizontal analysis has been performed first, then statistical study has been executed to extract correlation factor (R)to identify- the relation t\pe and its strength between dependent factor and independent factors, then determinant coefficient^®) has been computed to determine how much each independent factors related to each other can affects the dependent factor (FDI volume) separately and then collectively finally the regression factor(B) has been calculated to determine as how much is the amount of change in the dependent factor as result of the change in independent factor by one unit.

The study has reached several conclusions there is a strong effect of the independent factors collectively on the dependent factor and the study included some recommendations which can be summarized as follow by the Government of Algeria for example the proper climate to attract more foreign investment is necessary.
