Abstract EN

The study aimed to identify the culture of career guidance among the parents of students in the Government education schools, in Oman and its administrative and teaching members ; and to discover the differences in that culture according to the gender, experience, scientific qualification, grade, educational governorate and job title.

The study found that the culture of career guidance in the sample is weak in some points, and his characterized by strength in others.

There were also differences of statistical significance in the culture of career guidance in parents due to the variable of the academic grade and the governorate of education; there are differences of statistical significance in the culture of professional guidance at the administrative due to the variable of scientific qualification and educational maintenance.

Based on the previous results, some recommendations and suggestions were formulated to serve the educational field
