Abstract EN

This study aims to determine the possibility of using Profit Determination as one of the tools of Islamic Monetary Policy, to clarify the mechanisms and methods of Profit Determination, and to limit the reasons for profit and its parties in Islamic Banks.

This study follows a practical experiment conducted in a Muslim countryies in the field of determining profits as a tool of monetary policy to take advantage of the status quo; to study the feasibility of applying it effectively and to determine the most important obstacles encountered.

This study recommends using various types and forms of Profit Determination as a monetary policy tool in Islamic countries, and urges the exclusion of interest-based monetary policy mechanisms.

The study concludes the effectiveness of the Profit Determination Policy, alongside other Monetary Policy tools, to achieve the objectives of monetary central bank policy.

It also concludes that the effectiveness of Profit Determination policy is more effective within an integrated Islamic banking system that understands the fundamentals of Islamic banking in its law and legal dimensions.
