This paper sheds light on the impact of bank credits volatility on the investment in Algeria.
After testing the stationarity of investment (INV) and bank credits (Credit), we tested the cointegration of these two time series in order to examine the short and long run relationship between these variables.
The results indicate that there is cointegration between investment and bank credits, hence we could run the Error Correction Model (ECM).
An attempt is made to determine the real effects of the relationship between the variables studied.
