Abstract EN

The prolegomena of sciences represent a pivotal part of Islamic thought.

They became, in certain historical periods, epidemics about the depth of theoretical rooting realized by the Islamic thought in various branches.

Since the joints of Islamic thought are interrelated in formative form, the introductions are often the foundation of a complete intellectual orientation, which is reflected in all the chapters of the work it introduced.

However, introductions have not been an inherent act.

Many Arab Islamic texts have no introductions, and in many other texts introductions seems to reflect an intellectual luxury rather than a conceptual framework.

Ibadi thought in the Maghreb is not far from all these cases.

This paper will seek to identify the location of introductions in Ibadi thought and their functions in relation to its cultural, cognitive and doctrinal contexts.

The paper will then monitor the impact of intellectual interaction in the Maghreb and will analyze how intellectual introductions were systematically formed.

The paper aims at rethinking the intellectual interaction of Islamic thought which has often been seen from doctrinal sphere and neglects its collective interactional realm.
