Abstract EN

This study is concerned with the difficulty of applying the legislative texts relating to School Counselors in Algeria through studying some of these legislative texts.

This work aims at discovering different legislative texts that organize the process of school direction and guidance, stafting by the act of Apriil6th, 1976 which considers school guidance as an imporlant basis to the education process in Algeria.

The act suggests that by taking into consideration pupils' capacitres and orientation, the level of learners may develop, but in reality, School Councelors may face many difficulties in putting such legislatives into practice.

This affects negatively his perfortnance and duties towards both the pupil and the school.

To conclude, this study calls for reforming old texts legisiative to achieve better results.
