The issue of the Arabic language in the new media, especially the social networking sites, is one of the most urgent topics for discussion of the many flaws that have contributed to its decline, which poses a danger to its constituents, its uniqueness and its future as one of the most important languages in the world.

This study is an attempt to monitor the features of the language used in chatting through social networking sites to determine their location from the standard Arabic language and the problems that they suffer from and propose the recommendations to correct them.
