The Ancient Arabs were interested in "the term" since it is a linguistic heritage in the Arabic language; therefore, they created a web of terms to help set the definitions of sciences and categorize its phenomena.

One term that has received tremendous interest is the term "sound".

This indicates that it is not a merely modern topic, but rather more of a traditional one.

Considering the richness of the Arabic language in creating and generating terms, all sciences have word templates that form their terminological record.

In this research paper, we are trying to present a range of phonological terms related to the production of sound and its distinct characteristics as well as trying to Define which of the scholars was the pioneer in defining the concept of "term" before other scholars and researchers started using it.
