Abstract EN

In the current era, the world witnesses various events in different domains that require the translation to be decoded and understood since translation is an act of communication.

Thus, media translation was created and it becomes an inseparable part of the media workshops.

It is the core of the news making at a time when information and news are flowing as a steady stream.

Indeed, the translator /interpreter has gained a permanent place in all news agencies.

His function varies depending on the type of the means of communication.

So, what is the media translation? And who can practice it? What are its criteria and mechanisms? And how to satisfy the media requirements imposed by the latest world news? It seems impossible to limit the pressure of the information war, reducing its severity only by the translation competence, whether written or oral, in a time when the information should be immediately captured to be broadcasted in the receptor‘s language in order to inform him.
