Abstract EN

Since ages, philosophers and scientists have dreamt and worked to see the whole world living a better life.

Their attempts and efforts were to combat against the critical situation , they have been living , or simply to escape from.

Such due consideration and thought gave birth to what is known : the Utopia societies ; which were witnessed only in black and white and good examples of those cities are : The Platonic Republic , Scientists’ City of Francis Bacon , Thomas Moore’ Utopia , the Sun City of Campanella ,The Virtuous City of Alfarabi , and the Lord City by Saint Augustine…etc; and many others reflections and dreams that had taken a philosophical dimension from one side and got blended and merged with travelling literature and fiction literature from the other side .

Moreover , the mankind dream about Virtuous Cities have not stopped during the contemporary and modern era; but human thought still working on to reach a part of those cities through the birth of embryonic ideas by the beginning of the 90’s known nowadays under the concept of : the knowledge cities or the knowledge societies.
