The research highlights the psychological pain endured by the great and respected companion Kaa'b ibn Malik al-Ansari, may Allah be pleased with him who missed the great invasion of Tabuk with the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him).The introduction of the research focuses on the importance of the subject and the reasons behind choosing it.

It also includes the previous studies on the topic, the limits of the study and the outline of the research and its methodology.

This is followed by three main steps: stylistics between the old and modern and the profile of Kaa’b Ibn Malik and the invasion of Tabuk.

Finally, the researcher defines pain, its causes, types and benefits.

All this is followed by a discussion on a series of successive ideas through which the researcher analyzes the depth of the psychological pain to which the companion was subject to whether at the level of words, structures or rhetoric figures.
