With para-agricultural activities, practitioners aim at covering the insufficiency of agricultural revenues and meeting the needs of investing in agriculture.

That is why external income justifies the continuity of paraagricultural activities, their diversity and the increase in the number of their practitioners.

So, external income development helps in studying and understanding its impact on agricultural investment and ownership.

Income investment reveals the predominance of para-agricultural activities.

Understanding income investment and its impact requires analyzing its facets.

We conclude that there is a relationship between para-agricultural income and agricultural investment in the suburbs of Casablanca.

Findings are generalizable to suburbs of other cities, especially in the Global South.
