Abstract EN

This study aims to highlight the role of practical tools in the realization of the principles of Japanese philosophy in the management of production.

According to the descriptive approach, we have an image about its use, its domains, and its application procedures.

It has been realized that the spirit of Japanese production management has gone beyond theory and denudation and has led to practice through innovation of simple and practical tools namely : the 5 “S”, the SMED, quality cycles, and Kanban Cards.
