Quality Standards of Electronic Tests Design As Envisioned and the DegreeoOf Availability in the Level Tests in Jordanian Universities This study has aimed to recognize the quality standards in the design of electronic tests and the degree of availability in the plesment tests in Jordanian universities.
The researchers has applied Delphi Method in four stages.
In the first stage, a questionnaire has been distributed to 47 experts to have their opinions on the quality standards related to the Electronic Tests.
In the second stage, the specialists’ inputs have been collected, moderated, edited; where repeated points were omitted, and then distributed out again to the same judging panel and the process has been repeated in the third and fourth stage.
This has been done in order to accumulate and form a list of the quality standards of the electronic Tests and its sychomatrie features.
To identify the availability of these standards in the placement tests, a list of the standards has been distributed on a group of the study sample of 250 250 academek faculty members who have been selected randomly and then the data has been collected and entered to SPSS to generate results.
Those results have shown a list of quality standards of the electronic tests that consists of 52 sections spread over 4 fields.
The results also showed the relative importance to each of the sections across the four fields.
The seacometric features have been checked and there are indicators of high levels of truth and consistency.
The results have also shown that the availability of the placement tests in universities is on the mid-range and that there are differences between private and public universities in the favor of the public universities.
The study has recommended applying the quality standards in designing the electronic tests on all the electronic tests across all educational institutes in Jordan.
