Research has been extensively carried out on Compulsory Education between Jordan's Legislations and International Standards.
I will begin with defining compulsory education in essence along with constitutional and international protection for compulsory education.
Research highlighted the major features of the Compulsory Education Stage according to international standards in terms of availability, possible accession and admission thereto, and capability of adjustment thereof through analyzing the provisions of Jordanian Legislations regulating compulsory education and conducting research on how far those provisions are compatible with such standards.
In conclusion, research came up with several recommendations most prominent of which is the need to amend Jordan's Constitution so that it will provide for compulsory education to all those residing on the land of the Kingdom, and cancellation of both dismissal and expulsion from the compulsory stage of education.
