This paper analyzes the Method of Mohamed Abd-el Hadi Abu Ridah in reading the Orientalist discourse, its motivations and rulings on the history of philosophy in Islam.
This Method draws the attention of researchers to the originality of Islamic philosophical thinking and rejects of European centralism and prejudices in the study of Islamic philosophy, because it is not compatible with the epistemological context of Islamic sciences.
