The aim of this study was to evaluate "Your Career Path" Book - Masarak Al Mehani- of the 12th grade in the Sultanate of Oman in the light of the CECI's standards.

In order to achieve the objectives of the study, the researcher used the mixed approach using qualitative and quantitative methods.

The researcher prepared a content analysis card composed of 25 domains of the CECI's Standards, which are divided into (5) standards: Develop a personal profile related to potential career choices, examine the relationships among career planning, career decision and lifestyles , determine the skills, attitudes and behaviors necessary to getting a position, develop a career portfolio, Investigate the range of learning opportunities in post-secondary programs, on -the-job training and entrepreneurial endeavors, Investigate employer and employee ethics, rights and responsibilities and Design a plan for turning life goals and aspirations into reality, The validity of these standards was confirmed by the arbitrators.

Also, the validity of the analysis was confirmed by another analyst, and then the content of "Your Career Path Book - Masarak Al Mehani" for the 12th grade was analyzed in light of these standards.

The researcher also prepared a questionnaire derived from the CECI's Standards with the aim of revealing the views of professional guidance specialists on the degree of conformity of the book contents with the CECI's Standards.

The questionnaire was conducted on (54) specialists from six provinces, namely: Muscat, Al Batinah North and Al Batinah South, AL Dakhiliyah, Al Dhahirah and Ash Sharqiyah North.

The results of the study showed a difference in the percentage of inclusion of each of the CECI's Standards.

The standard of "Develop a personal profile related to potential career choices" was ranked first in terms of inclusion ratio (33%), followed by the standard of "Develop a career portfolio" at (22%).

These were followed by the standard of "Investigate employer and employee ethics, rights and responsibilities by 15.2%; then came "Investigate the range of learning opportunities in post-secondary programs, on -the-job training and entrepreneurial endeavors by 13.4%.

Both standards "Determine the skills, attitudes and behaviors necessary to getting a position and "Design a plan for turning life goals and aspirations into reality were ranked at 7%.

Standards of "Examine the relationships among career planning, career decision and lifestyles came last.

According to professional guidance specialists, the level of conformity of the book content with the CECI's Standards was low.

The mean of their perspectives was 1.98.

Results of Test (K) indicated that the differences between the results of the content analysis and the views of the specialists are statistically significant in six standards for the benefit of specialists.

Also, results showed that there is no significance in one standard which is "Develop a career portfolio".
