Abstract EN

The aim of this study was to determine the compatibility with university life and its relation to the psychological, social and academic adjustment of the first-year students in the Palestinian universities through some variables such as the social type, the type of college and the cumulative rate of the student.

To answer the study questions and verify their hypotheses, Students of the first year in the Palestinian universities and its strength (160) students.

The results of the study revealed that there were statistically significant differences between the sexes after the psychological adjustment and the total score in favor of males, the differences in favor of the humanitarian colleges in the general consensus, and the differences in the degree of compatibility in favor of those with high rates, Social status in the first place and psychological adjustment in the second place and the adjustment of the study in third place as came the general consensus with the university community above the average, the researcher recommended some recommendations related.
