Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the characteristics of the classroom questions that used by math teachers in private schools from their point of view, the scale was developed scale from (44) item Distributed at three levels : formulation of classroom questions, purposes, and asking, it was applied to a sample of (120) male and female math teachers, randomly selected.

Results indicated the teacher's estimation of the characteristics of questions was very large average (3.85).

The results showed no statistically significant differences at (□< 0.05) between the teachers' in the degree of questioning skills due to gender and scientific qualification and experience years The study ended with a number of recommendations, including : Ask questions answered to other students who are reluctant to participate to encourage them, Use the justification questions to explain the answer, Ask questions in time during class
