Abstract EN

This study aims at highlighting the role that could be played by ecotourism as a tool to achieve sustainable development in Souk Ahras city.

The study concludes to many results, despite the attractions of Souk Ahras including cultural and historical components such as archaeological and historical areas and scenic landscapes of the mountains, forests and valleys, as well as the distinctive climate, Cultural traditions, traditions and Traditional industries.

However, tourism doesn’t reach to the required level, this is mainly due to the constraints that prevent the achievement of its objectives like a sustainable local development that would promote the city.
