Abstract EN

The study aimed at investigate the level of social interest among adolescent students in the governorate of Irbid, and whether it varies according to sex and grade.

To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher developed a scale of (25) items for social interest.

The sample of the study consisted of (893) teachers (366 male and 527 female) stratified randomly selected from the students of Irbid governorate public schools for the academic year 2017/2018.

The results of the study showed that the level of social interest was high.

The study revealed that there were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05 = a) in the level of social interest due to the grade Favor the ninth grade, while the results did not reveal differences in the level of social interest due to sex, or interaction between sex and grade.
