The trade in tourism services plays a role that is no less important than the trade in commodities.
the liberalization of this sector is expected to achieve several benefits, including investment and job creation.
this study aims at investigating the expected effects of liberalizing the trade in tourism services, after Algeria joined the WTO, and the possibility of being an engine of economic and social development.
the most important outcome of this study is that Algeria has all the financial and human resources that qualify it to upgrade the tourism services, and since it is still in the process of negotiation with WTO, it must deal with caution with the liberation of tourist services, due to the weakness of this sector compared to what is typical of developed countries.

Le commerce des services touristiques joue un rôle non moins important que le commerce des produits de base.
la libéralisation de ce secteur devrait générer plusieurs avantages, notamment l'investissement et la création d'emplois.
cette étude vise à étudier les effets attendus de la libéralisation du commerce des services touristiques après l'adhésion de l'Algérie à l'OMC et la possibilité de devenir un moteur du développement économique et social.
Le résultat le plus important de cette étude est que l'Algérie dispose de toutes les ressources financières et humaines lui permettant de mettre à niveau les services touristiques, et comme elle est en cours de négociation avec l'OMC, elle doit faire preuve de prudence dans la libération des services touristiques en raison de la faiblesse de ce secteur par rapport à ce qui est typique des pays développés.
