Abstract EN

This research seeks to propose a model for establishing Islamic windows for Islamic transactions in the Palestinian banks in Palestine due to the lack of Islamic banks on one hand and to eliminate Haram (forbidden) banking transactions on the other hand.

The researcher used the descriptive method to identify the concept of Islamic windows in traditional banks, discuss the challenges and difficulties facing creating such windows and to specify success factors.

This research concludes that setting up Islamic windows in traditional banks enhances Islamic banking due to the long experience of these banks.

Also such a step is needed towards banking transition as it could contribute to thinking seriously on the part of banks to gradually or fully to Islamic banks in the future.

The researcher recommends raising awareness of Islamic banking and consolidating it among individuals, and enacting laws that take into consideration the particularity of Islamic finance.
