Rezgui Ben Mansour Sheikh Hanencha (1826-1848) was one of the most prominent sheikhs of the tribe in the 19th century.

The Sheikh provided several services to the Beylik and to Hadj Ahmed Bey Constantine (1826-1837), which contributed to the security and elimination of the rebels.

The Sheikh also played military roles with the Bey in blocking the first French campaign on the city of Constantine in 1836, but his position on the Hadj Ahmed Bey has changed since rebellion against his authority, he opposed his allegiance to the occupation authorities, who "kept" him as a Sheikh on the same areas he had run in the previous era.

El Rezgui Ben Mansour and his participation in several local events in Beylik, the Algerian region, are present during the first half of 19th century, the issue of tribal elders' relationship with their tribe members, on the one hand, and the Ottoman rulers, and later the French, on the other.
