English Abstract

This study aimed to reveal the effectiveness of learning centers (LCs) strategy in the development of life skills for the Palestinian students from the point of view of students and teachers and principals, this was done through investigating opinions of (350) students who were taught using LCs strategy, and (19) teachers who applied the strategy with their students after being taught on the required competencies to implement the strategy, in addition to(7) principals who followed up the implementation of the strategy in their schools.

Three investigation tools were used to achieve the aim of the study; a questionnaire for the students, a focus group for the teachers and interviews with the principals.The results showed that the learning centers have actually contributed to a large extent in developing the life skills, and recommended the adaptation of learning centers strategy in teaching science and in educational qualification of the teachers.
