Abstract EN

The main goal of this research paper is to unveil the role of the Islamic education course book for the 5th year in primary school in raising the citizenship sense of the pupil by focusing on the first project which entitled “l obey my god” and which contains many educational units: The wise luqman advice his son, to believe in the day of judgment and the destiny, also performing a pilgrimage to the holly palaces.

The project ended with integrated unit which is some activities, exercises and tasks about the previous units to remind the pupils about what they have learned in form of axes ( I understand, I learn, I remember, I do).

Finally, in order to analyze our data we have used many techniques, in particular observation and content analysis technique.
