Abstract EN

Theatre is a communicative art and related to its environment to constitute a comprehensive system for various types of fields and scientific-humanitarian knowledge, devoting communication tools, the spoken and the visualized ones, to narrate its ideological conclusions by an aesthetic-artistic matrix.

Because narrative text can be represented by spoken language, whether oral or written in addition to the visualized image, whether stable or moving.

It can also be represented through well organizing for both employment.

Therefore narrative is considered the most important means of expressing and communicating in theatre for it is characterized with capability in transferring the subjects within a sequential event which is cohesive and communicative in accordance with the mechanisms of its employment and serves the style of work.

Based on what is mentioned above; the current study was divided into four chapters.

The first dealt with the approach of represented in (the problem of the study, the importance and the need for it, the aim, and specifying the terms.

The second chapter included the theoretical frame which consisted of two sections; (narrative and theatre: an introduction), (body narrative: content and meaning).

As for the third chapter it dealt with the procedure which included: the community, the sample, the approach, the tool and the analysis.

Two samples, from the community of the study, the two plays (Ritosamhara and Mershishaktic), were chosen intentionally.

The study was ended with chapter four (findings and discussion), and it also included (the findings and conclusions), ending with a list of the bibliography.
