Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding the environmental value level of individuals in the study sample at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

It showed the scope of statistically significant differences at a significance level of (α ≤ 0.05) in the environmental value level in the intended study sample depending on the study subjects and variables.

The qualitative survey method was used for data collection by using surveys and checking the psychometric properties.

The study was conducted during the second semester of the academic year 1437/1438H on (449) female students at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University.

Findings of the study showed that the environmental value level of individuals in the study sample was high.

There were statistically significant differences regarding the environmental value level of maintaining and providing peace due to the specialization variable in favor of female students of psychology.

The level of environmental value of individuals varied due to information regarding environmental issues and concerns for those who have a great background and information related to environment.

Moreover, there are statistically significant differences among the study sample individuals depending on study subjects.

The current study highly recommended including more environmental education for female students of the Faculty of Education at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University by arranging and organizing several awareness lectures or courses in the education plans of academic courses in the Faculty of Education at Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University within the field of environmental education.

Princess Nora bint Abdulrahman University could serve as a model for improving and maintaining human health and managing environment.

This can be achieved through preventing selling any unhealthy food in the University campus.
