The aesthetic approach, poetry criticism of the Arabs, Ibn Tabataba, Qudamah ibn Jaafar Research Summary We begin with a new era in the critique of poetry by Ibn Tabataba (٣٢٢ h.) and the view of poetry as an aesthetic work, but it has not reached aesthetic maturity, which evaluates beauty on the basis of ethics, and looks at the meaning as revolving in good or evil.

In this research, I read a great reader of his cultural and monetary heritage, Qudama ibn Jaafar (٣٣٧ h.), and the impact of Greek philosophy on his criticism of poetry, which was unprecedented in putting an end to poetry .The aesthetic approach of both critics is one of the best monetary curricula among Arabs in that period of time.
