Abstract EN

This study aims at clarifying the terms related to the child's physical and psychological development before cognition age , that stated in the personal status law number 36 for the year 2010 , to achieve the goals of the study , the two researchers followed the inductive and deductive methods .

The study concluded that the breastfeeding for the baby, and the expense for him after weaning are very important for him to develop healthy .

It's also concluded that the mother is the one who takes care of the child , and she has the right to custody her child in condition of maintaining health for him, and the meeting, companionship, and sleep in the same house between father and his children are necessary for them to develop healthy: physically and psychologically.

The study recommends the supreme judge department to amend the law to take in consideration the physical and psychological development of the child , and to add a psychology in development as a course to the courses that are being taught in the legal justice institute.
