Abstract EN

It is the favour and blessing of God on His servants that He accepts their repentance and pardons their sins for their calamity in the life, or for their performance of good deeds and God forgives many of them without charge.

So, it is far from God’s mercy to pardon His servants and present them to paradise without punishment, even if they committed some small sins.

This is because of their plenty of good deeds that eradicate their evils, or only because of God’s mercy.

Despite that, there are many confusion views on this matter, in the past and present day, which related to misunderstanding to this Prophetic Tradition ‘Hadith’: (Allah looked at the participants of the battle of Badr (with mercy) and said: Do whatever you wish; I have forgiven you).

Therefore, the Muslim scholars attempted to answer some of the questions raised concerning this Hadith, among them the prominent Kurdish scholar, Sheikh Ibrahim bin Hassan al-Gorani, who wore this brief letter to respond a question that was directed him about understanding the Hadith.

He replied with the reliability of the hadith and the chain of narrations to the Prophet of Islam, Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him).

We have investigated this letter to demonstrate the reliability and clear comprehend of the Hadith and preserve the Islamic heritage and revive what can be revived, based on scientific method, with our comments on the investigation of Sheikh Gorani .
