Abstract EN

The study aims at identifying the professional pressures affecting the professional practice in Libya.

This study is descriptive based on the survey methodology.

The researcher relied on the questionnaire and personal interview tools to obtain information from the communicators and answer the questions of the questionnaire.

(66) interviewed by the media contacts in the media in the city of Beni Walid, namely: (Radio ADS fm and the local radio Ben Walid, Dardanelles fm and Dardanelles satellite channel).

The study reached a number of results: A.80.4% of Libyan media contacts did not attend training courses in the field of work B.

80.3% of the Libyan media outlets are the source of their access to the information.

C.47% of Libyan media contacts are dissatisfied with their professional performance.

D.Seventy-one percent of the contacts in Libyan media organizations have many obstacles affecting their media work.

The difficulties facing the media practitioners in the Libyan media organizations: security difficulties and the prevalence of weapons chaos by 78.7%, followed by the government's disregard for media and media institutions by 65%, followed by the lack of material and moral support from the media institutions by 62.1%.

The callers strongly agree with 56% that the media organizations do not care to evaluate the performance of the employees.
