Most of the specialists in the world of childhood call for the necessity to leave teaching history for children until the age of maturity, because history is a series of events characterized by their complexity and depend on the logical sequence of time and space.

Yet, the child cannot understand these perceptions because his world longs for imagination.

Hence, children's books writers tend to highlight the historical vision through literary genres, primarily novels; (historical novel) .The follower of this type of stories in Algeria distinguishes a sort of thematic selection of history; writers are interested in narrating the battles of the liberation war in order to convey revolutionary principles and values to children.

So, what is the role of ideology in this child-oriented narrative pattern, despite the child’s incapability of grasping the intellectual and national concepts contained in the historical story ?
