This study aims to display the strategic role of Central Banks around the world, including the Bank of Algeria, in ensuring the right application of corporate governance at the level of banks under their supervision.

Corporate governance of banks occupied an important position for the supervisory authorities, especially after bankruptcies and financial scandals that several banks around the world have experienced, including some banks operating in Algeria.
