The fight against the crime of human trafficking risks placing greater emphasis on the punishment of the perpetrators of this crime in comparison to the protection of their victims, which can compromise the trust between investigators and victims for effective cooperation in the pursuit of the doers of the crime.

In this research, we will attempt to highlight the urgent need to identify victims of trafficking on the basis of indicators developed by specialists to achieve two objectives: the first is to reach this category to provide assistance and the necessary protection, an objective that must not be sacrificed for the second, which is to obtain the testimony of the victims, used to arrest the persons implicated in this type of crime.
