Abstract EN

In this study, we discuss the subject of "semantic orientation" in discourse analysis.

It examines variable meanings and fixed faces in the cultural and semiotics context especially when addressed to a particular receiver, who is the discourse analyst.

This latter searches for deeper connotations in understanding, acceptance and persuasion.

Therefore, the interpretation of the symbolic meaning is a way to understand the reality and its implications which are interpreted through its intertextual references and its symbol of textual and extra textual contexts.

The analyst in this context looks for a deep analysis of the discourse in order to understand the acts of the speaker and interpretation.

To illustrate the characteristics of semantic orientation, and to represent the modalities that form the meaning of perception, adaptation and interpretation, three main quests this research seeks to answer: is the speech a common goal of understanding between the interlocutors, or is reaching the intention achieved by understanding and interpretation? is the ordinary recipient understands what the discourse analyst understands and reaches? And how can we define the meaning of what the speaker says and what the analysts say?
