Constantly looking for innovation, the contemporary dramatic poet was not satisfied with his distinguishing quality.

Moreover, he added to it some esthetics which did not exist before.

Even if they did, they were not effective to the extent that the contemporary Arab dramatic poet has rendered them.

First, polyphony makes the poetic play a network of relations between the event and the characters and between individual and general images.

The result is that they all blend in harmony and become one texture.

We find all levels intertwined in a permanent movement and objectivity resulting in multiple dimensions of the play.

In addition, another technique that makes the verse drama original is the “chorus”.

The latter makes the poetic experience unique and characterized by a variety of sounds, images and levels.
