Oral literature is the background of cultural rehearsal.

It features the transmission productive modes of traditional popular songs in Souk Ahras area.

This fact is obviously reflected in the used language itself.

A language, exclusively oral, that is distinct by its sounds, words, and/ or deviations from classical Arabic.

Which rank could one assign to oral literature and culture in didactics of languages and culture? Is it important to teach them? And mainly how? In , the present study, we try to come out with replies to these questions particularly through traditional songs of Souk Ahras and its speificities.
