The legislator approved by the law of wakfs property, that wakfs goods nationalized under the provisions of the ordinance bearing agrarian revolution, will be restored, if it is established that they are such according to Islamic sharia and in the legality , and will be devolved to the initial recipients, failing these, they will be devolved to the authority in charge of wakfs.

And after the publication of Executive Decree n° 14/70 laying down the terms and conditions for the rental of Wakfs land for agriculture, approved that the exploitation and the fruiting of the agricultural wakfs property restored by the State and the superficiaries are maintained by a lease subject to a specific regime which replaces the previous mode of exploitation, and consequently, it was released interministerial decreeelfelf the modalities of conversion of the right of perpetual enjoyment or the right of concession in right of rental of wakfs lands for agriculture restored by the State.
