Abstract EN

The study aimed at finding out the relationship between the trends towards early retirement and the quality of working life.

The study was conducted on a sample of teachers of secondary education in the region of Ouargla, Algeria.

The researcher used the descriptive approach and relied on the SPSS20 program in statistical analysis.

There is a positive correlation between the quality of work life and trends towards early retirement with a correlation coefficient (R = 0.412) at significance level 0.05, there is a positive trend towards early retirement in the study sample by 86%, there is a decline in the quality of work life in the study sample (61%), there are no significant differences in the type of trend due to the gender variable at the significance level of 0.05, there are differences of statistical significance due to variables (age, professional experience, family status).
