Is one of unemployment problems of interest to geographers, economists and planners, as well as social studies a problem and the importance of the study of the importance of unemployment with social, political and psychological dimensions of economic problem, The study was descriptive and analytical approach adopted with the assistance of the results of the General Census of Population of 1997 and the results of the field study for 2015, the study found to a set of results can be summarized as follows:- 1-show that there is an increase in unemployment rates in the elimination of 15.3% in 1997 to 34% in 2015.

2-The unemployment rate for females in 1997 was 4%, and attributed this decline to the large proportion of females unemployed women call themselves (housewives) and not unemployed, it turns out that there is an increase in unemployment in 2015, amounting to 38.6%.

this is due to the high level of education for females and the weakness of the link between education outputs and labor market needs of the workforce.

3-occupied the reason (lack of job opportunities available) the highest percentage of unemployed among the reasons that led to unemployment as the unemployment rate reached 38.2% for the reason followed by second place (high production coast and lack of physical yield) increased by 12.7%.

4-high rate of illiteracy among the unemployed in 1997, according to the results of the field study in 2015 fell to 18.1% because 0f the field in illiteracy between the population.
