Abstract EN

Most of Algerian's PhDs research in information and communication sciences witness serious imperfections, since several years ago.

This is due to the accumulation of disturbing patterns of behavior in this specialty.

This situation leads to the idea of the feasibility of such research, which are concerned to bring up an added value to the field, but they are considered just as an administrative process to get the diploma right now.

Unfortunately, researchers have deviated their role, even at the expense of the scientific research process and the reputation of this specialty as well.

During reviewing PhD dissertations, we can easily detect several problems related to the academic training at information and communication sciences departments in Algeria.

Some problems are related to the research methodology process, the present research paper seeks to discuss methodological problems and focusing on the intellectual and cognitive errors of these dissertations.
