This article deals with the new semantic dimension of the Qur'anic word, as an introduction to the understanding of the Qur'anic discourse, many of the terms were used by the Arabs in their familiar linguistic language, but the Holy Qur'an gave it a new dimension to be derived from the contexts of its texts and verses.

Among these terms is chastity.

In this context, this article is entitled: "The Semantic Dimension of Chastity for the Desire of Money in the Holy Quran" to address one of the areas of chastity in its new dimension through the study and analysis of verse 273 of Surah Al-Baqarah.
