Begging is considered a complicated social phenomenon in the Iraqi society due to the large number of the beggars and the various deceitful ways they used to gain as much money as they can.

This is may be attributed to many reasons such as the deterioration of the security, social, economic conditions of the society.

These are to be added to the displacement of hundreds of families because terrorism and wars.
