تحليل واقع و تنافسية القطاع السياحي في بعض الدول العربية

Abstract EN

Tourism sector has become an international industry that is important in the realization of economic and social development in all countries.

In order to diagnosis the impact of the current regional situation on the sector’s performance, and using many touristic indicators, this study tries to analyze the situation of tourism sector and the extent to which it is competitive in the Arab town.

Results show that despite of the advantages of Arab countries to attract tourists, their share of world tourism is still small, because of the barriers and problems that the sector suffers from like marginalization, the luck of infrastructure investments and security tensions the Arabic region suffers from.

Tourism sector needs a long term strategy and vision to promote Arab tourism.
