Abstract EN

During the 1970s, the industrial economy faced a complex structural crisis of three crises simultaneously.

These crises paved the way for the decline of the role of industry in the economy in favor of a new resource: knowledge which is becoming the main source to create wealth and the competitive advantage of nations are represented in their ability to create and optimize the use of this knowledge.

This study aims to shed light on the real reasons that led to the decline of the industrial economy and the motives that led to the emergence of the new economy
