There is no doubt that the pioneering human civilization is the combination of matter and spirit.

The loss of one of them can cause the disappearance and fall of that civilization.

Perhaps the suffering of the Islamic countries today of the weakness and backwardness of civilization because of the deviation and change in the spiritual values.

The observer of Islamic history notes its importance in the establishment of many civilizations, and it is one of its most important elements.

So, the following problems can be raised: What is the role of spiritual values in building nations and civilizations? What are the most important examples of that؟ This research comes to answer these problems by clarifying the concept of spiritual values, their sources and the most important examples of them, highlighting their importance in society and state building, rooting it from the Qur‘aan and Sunnah, and quoting scholars and thinkers of Islam.
