Abstract EN

Many scholars have agreed that the field of public administration suffers from an identity crisis and this crisis needs to be addressed in some way.

the most prominent debates of public administration scholars from the beginning of the 1950s until the late twentieth century have been serious and constructive attempts to build an integrated framework for drafting.

if we assume that, the field of public administration is based on variety, multiple and specific in scope concepts and there have been serious attempts to draw boundaries to the field based on these concepts.

we will not reach a real identity that reflects the nature of public administration with emphasis on the need to understand the public administration in its real environment in rapidly changing world.

the purpose of this study is to shed light on the reality of the identity crisis in the field of public administration and its breadth with the breadth of the field in line with the complex nature of the governmental administration.

moreover, how the impact of that crisis was absorbed through a multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary approach general describes the nature of the field of public administration.

in order to fit the new concept of the field of public administration with the nature and diversity of government public services provided by the state to its citizens.
